Spectators: 7135 (Terracing: 5490, Seating: 1500, VIP seats: 145) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Reynaldo Kimetz made the kick off which started today's match. Zacarias Iaki did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-0 to the left of a surprised Wilfredo Cesario 3 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Progreso AFC's Prudencio Heriberto got a free kick in the 6th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Benicio Orland in the 9th minute of play forced Progreso AFC's goalkeeper Roman Dalmau to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Zacarias Iaki could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 10th minute of the match, but Wilfredo Cesario made a huge save. In the 11th minute, Zacarias Iaki made a precise shot to the right of Wilfredo Cesario. canalla's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. Zacarias Iaki fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wilfredo Cesario having to interfere. In the 16th minute, canalla's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Arnulfo Etxeberri fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Wilfredo Cesario made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gervasio Orlandus in the 19th minute. Progreso AFC's Zacarias Iaki got a good chance for a goal in the 20th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 22 minutes into the game, Arnulfo Etxeberri recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Wilfredo Cesario. Arnulfo Etxeberri showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-0. Wilfredo Cesario made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Prudencio Heriberto in the 27th minute of play. Marcos Santiago was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 31 minutes into the match. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 30th minute of the game. One of Progreso AFC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of canalla:s goal. In the 33rd minute there was a penalty for canalla. Lucio Viator stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Roman Dalmau. 3-1. canalla's Wilfredo Cesario proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 36th minute of the match, managed to save canalla from getting a goal against them. Zacarias Iaki might have been able to make a better finish in the 39th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Wilfredo Cesario. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Zacarias Iaki ran back to his position shaking his head. With his leg Wilfredo Cesario managed to avoid a goal in the 40thth minute, when Progreso AFC's Zacarias Iaki fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Wilfredo Cesario made a fantastic save in the 44th minute, when Gervasio Orlandus sent off a good shot on target. Wilfredo Cesario made an important save on a dangerous shot by Zacarias Iaki in the 45th minute. When Benicio Orland fell near the penalty area in the 47th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored canalla's protests and gave Benicio Orland a yellow card for diving instead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Zacarias Iaki to make the kick off. Wilfredo Cesario showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zacarias Iaki in the 52nd minute of the match. In the 53rd minute, Isidoro Gonsalve got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Wilfredo Cesario took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zacarias Iaki, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Wilfredo Cesario showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zacarias Iaki, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. Primitivo Diegotxe's late challenge caught a Progreso AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Primitivo Diegotxe helped the player get up and apologised. In the 61st minute, Primitivo Diegotxe hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Zacarias Iaki sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. canalla's Wilfredo Cesario played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Isidoro Gonsalve in the 66th minute of play. If Aquilino Maule had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 71 minutes, Aquilino Maule managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. canalla's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aquilino Maule was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Aquilino Maule got free with Roman Dalmau in the 73rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Gervasio Orlandus had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Progreso AFC fans' excitement grew in the 80th match minute when Progreso AFC's Zacarias Iaki looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Zacarias Iaki in the 87th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Wilfredo Cesario prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Isidoro Gonsalve recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gervasio Orlandus in the 92nd minute of play forced canalla's goalkeeper Wilfredo Cesario to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Wilfredo Cesario made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zacarias Iaki in the 94th minute of play. The supporters of Progreso AFC booed when canalla was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Primitivo Diegotxe didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Zacarias Iaki had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Progreso AFC had played much better football throughout.
