León Ponzio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gustavo Gai in the 53rd minute of the match. Eduardo Fidele fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Prospero Merexildo having to interfere. Alonzo Madaleno struck a weak shot in the 56th minute. Prospero Merexildo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Amaicha del Valle. Amaicha del Valle played a much better game than Cartucho Futbol Club and deserved their victory. The Cartucho Futbol Club players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
