Prospero Merexildo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from German Richie in the 13th minute of the match. When Arnaldo Orlondo fell near the penalty area in the 15th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cartucho Futbol Club's protests and gave Arnaldo Orlondo a yellow card for diving instead. Arnaldo Orlondo kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. Melchor Senon kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Prudencio Jenaro in the 22nd minute of play forced Talleres's goalkeeper Rickard Lindström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Prospero Merexildo was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but German Richie showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 24 minute of play. 28 minutes into the game, Donato Cresenciano cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Prospero Merexildo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Donato Cresenciano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 47th minute of the match, German Richie tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Prospero Merexildo saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

The wind increased when German Richie made the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, German Richie got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Donato Cresenciano in the 53rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Prospero Merexildo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 56th minute, Gustavo Gai fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Donato Cresenciano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 66th minute Donato Cresenciano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Prospero Merexildo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Melquiades Moise kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Rickard Lindström. That made the score 3-1 in the 67 minute of play. Prospero Merexildo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from German Richie in the 71st minute of play. 73 minutes into the game, Melchor Senon was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cartucho Futbol Club's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Talleres the free kick. The supporters of Talleres booed when Cartucho Futbol Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Melchor Senon didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 78th minute German Richie shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Prospero Merexildo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 83rd minute, German Richie managed to get in a good position for a shot. Talleres's supporters rose to their feet, but German Richie was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Prospero Merexildo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After having played for 87 minutes, German Richie managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Talleres's supporters crossed their fingers, but German Richie was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Talleres had won after a very even match.
