Spectators: 7110 (Terracing: 5442, Seating: 1668, VIP seats: 0) Nacimiento AFC's Augusto Aritza started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Mauro Natal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Melquiades Moise in the 5th minute of the match. Melquiades Moise in the 8thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Mauro Natal, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. When Gustavo Gai came up free with the goalie in the 9th minute, the Cartucho Futbol Club fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gustavo Gai couldn't finish the play. In the 14th minute, Melquiades Moise hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Anier Meder received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Prospero Merexildo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 17 minutes into the game, Clemente Enol was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cartucho Futbol Club's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Nacimiento AFC the free kick. In the 18th match minute, Cartucho Futbol Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Clemente Enol to maneuver through the defense. Gustavo Gai received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Mauro Natal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Prospero Merexildo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Augusto Aritza, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Melchor Senon fell near the penalty area in the 32nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cartucho Futbol Club's protests and gave Melchor Senon a yellow card for diving instead. Augusto Aritza received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Prospero Merexildo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Cartucho Futbol Club's zone, Aquiles Pacorro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Prospero Merexildo came out of the goal and Aquiles Pacorro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 39th minute, Nicasio Urtsua hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Aquiles Pacorro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Melquiades Moise to make the kick off. The audience was convinced that Melquiades Moise's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Mauro Natal was relentless in the 52nd minute of the game. Mauro Natal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Melquiades Moise in the 53rd minute of play. Augusto Aritza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 59thth minute Aquiles Pacorro got a great chance to score trying to place the ball in the top left corner, but Prospero Merexildo was prepared and efficiently stopped the ball from getting in. After some fancy dribbling in the 61st minute, Melquiades Moise managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cartucho Futbol Club's supporters rose to their feet, but Melquiades Moise was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mauro Natal breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Aquiles Pacorro's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 65thth minute, Prospero Merexildo skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Cartucho Futbol Club's Gustavo Gai got a good chance for a goal in the 70th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 71st match minute, Nacimiento AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nicasio Urtsua to maneuver through the defense. Melquiades Moise took the ball and in the 72 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Mauro Natal. Mauro Natal dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Aquiles Pacorro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 75th minute of the match, but Prospero Merexildo made a huge save. Augusto Aritza recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Anier Meder sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Melchor Senon got his second yellow card in the match during the 83rd minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. After 84 played minutes Cartucho Futbol Club got a freekick which was hit by Melchor Senon. Prospero Merexildo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Augusto Aritza's shot from short distance in the 89th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Aquiles Pacorro got free with Prospero Merexildo in the 93rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Gustavo Gai had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cartucho Futbol Club succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Nacimiento AFC had controlled the match.
