Spectators: 7351 (Terracing: 5514, Seating: 1690, VIP seats: 147) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Eustaquio Mateus got the match started through his kick off. In the 2nd match minute, Amaicha del Valle was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rosendo Gaspard to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alonzo Madaleno in the 5th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Guillermo Sabin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Alonzo Madaleno did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-0 to the left of a surprised Guillermo Sabin 8 minutes into the match. 13 minutes into the game, Amaicha del Valle's Eduardo Fidele nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Guillermo Sabin made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. In the 17th minute, Eduardo Fidele fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. 17 minutes into the game, Cipriano Olo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. San Lorenzo's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Amaicha del Valle the free kick. Cipriano Olo hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. After recieving a nice pass, Amaicha del Valle's Pablo Gutxi tried to score from far away in the 18th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. After having played for 21 minutes, Eustaquio Mateus managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. San Lorenzo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eustaquio Mateus was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Rosendo Gaspard hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. Eduardo Fidele sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Eduardo Fidele received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Guillermo Sabin came out and tried to block the shot, but Eduardo Fidele slotted it home off the left post making it 3-0 in the 28th minute. Eduardo Fidele scored 4-0 in the 33rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Guillermo Sabin, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 39 minutes into the match, Amaicha del Valle's Eduardo Fidele sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Guillermo Sabin narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Guillermo Sabin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alonzo Madaleno, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Alonzo Madaleno came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the Amaicha del Valle fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alonzo Madaleno couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in San Lorenzo's zone, Alonzo Madaleno stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Guillermo Sabin came out of the goal and Alonzo Madaleno tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alonzo Madaleno in the 48th minute of play forced San Lorenzo's goalkeeper Guillermo Sabin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Alonzo Madaleno was the one to do the kick off. If Fidel Cebrian had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 55 minutes into the match, San Lorenzo's goal looked a bit too open when Eduardo Fidele came free, but Guillermo Sabin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Eduardo Fidele had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 61 minutes of play Amaicha del Valle's Rosendo Gaspard was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After a rather tough play, Amaicha del Valle's Rosendo Gaspard got a free kick in the 62nd minute. The attack was good, but when Eustaquio Mateus in the 63rd minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Eduardo Fidele might have been able to make a better finish in the 66th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Guillermo Sabin. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Eduardo Fidele ran back to his position shaking his head. Eduardo Fidele received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Guillermo Sabin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Melchor Bazil fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Guillermo Sabin having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eduardo Fidele in the 71st minute of play forced San Lorenzo's goalkeeper Guillermo Sabin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 74 minutes into the game, Fermin Alvarez was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. In the 82nd minute, Melchor Bazil got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Amaicha del Valle's Eduardo Fidele got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Melchor Bazil recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Guillermo Sabin didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Eduardo Fidele went, in the 87th minute, to the upper right corner, 6-0 was the resulting score. Guillermo Sabin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eduardo Fidele in the 91st minute of the match. After 92 played minutes San Lorenzo got a freekick which was hit by Gogo Fidensio. Guillermo Sabin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eduardo Fidele, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. Guillermo Sabin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eduardo Fidele, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
