After a defensive mix-up in Salsipuede's zone, Eduardo Fidele stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Angel Arixo came out of the goal and Eduardo Fidele tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 23rd minute, Fabian Ledesma hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Angel Arixo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alonzo Madaleno in the 27th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Rosendo Gaspard during the 32nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Salsipuede booed when Amaicha del Valle was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rosendo Gaspard didn't get a good kick on the ball. Salsipuede's Angel Arixo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 37th minute of the match, managed to save Salsipuede from getting a goal against them. When the match had gone on for 38 minutes, Alonzo Madaleno took a quick shot and it went in 3-0 without a chance for Angel Arixo to make any attempt to save it. Angel Arixo came out of the goal in the 42nd minute to try and stop a shot by Amaicha del Valle's Eduardo Fidele. But to his dismay, Eduardo Fidele quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. If Eduardo Fidele had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

The wind increased when Alonzo Madaleno made the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, Salsipuede's goal looked a bit too open when Alonzo Madaleno came free, but Angel Arixo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Melchor Bazil hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. Alonzo Madaleno recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. León Ponzio didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Evaristo Beat went, in the 89th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-1 was the resulting score. Gonzalo Eutor charged in rather forcefully in the 91st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gonzalo Eutor the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Gonzalo Eutor kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. There was no doubt that Amaicha del Valle were the better team. Amaicha del Valle's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
