The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Augusto Isauro showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 22 minutes into the match, Provolone FC's goalkeeper Saul Edorta had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jonas Vermudo. Salvador Nardo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Augusto Isauro having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Higinio Mannie in the 31st minute of play forced Provolone FC's goalkeeper Saul Edorta to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Provolone FC's Teodoro Nesto got a free kick in the 31st minute. If Jonas Vermudo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 34th minute, Salvador Nardo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 36 minutes, Salvador Nardo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Provolone FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Salvador Nardo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jonas Vermudo in the 41stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Saul Edorta, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When Igor Francesco was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 54 minutes had been played. A collision led to Plátanos AFC getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Igor Francesco hit a great ball. Augusto Isauro made a fantastic save in the 59th minute, when Guaberto Saturnin sent off a good shot on target. Guaberto Saturnin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 61st minute of the match, but Augusto Isauro made a huge save. Provolone FC's Guaberto Saturnin got a good chance for a goal in the 62nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Guaberto Saturnin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Augusto Isauro having to interfere. Plátanos AFC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 72nd minute, when Salvador Nardo scored to the left of an out of position Augusto Isauro, making the score, 1-3. After 74 played minutes Provolone FC got a freekick which was hit by Teodoro Nesto. After some fancy dribbling in the 80th minute, Guaberto Saturnin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Provolone FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Guaberto Saturnin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Augusto Isauro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Salvador Nardo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jonas Vermudo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Saul Edorta having to interfere. After 92 played minutes Provolone FC got a freekick which was hit by Teodoro Nesto. Faustino Astrada hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. Saul Edorta took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jonas Vermudo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Provolone FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
