Spectators: 6954 (Terracing: 5300, Seating: 1654, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Felipe Uhin started the match with the kick off. A collision led to Montiel getting a freekick after 2 minutes play. Benicio Leguizamón hit a great ball. After 3 played minutes Saguara FC got a freekick which was hit by Leonel Sanson. An unexpectedly hard shot by Conrado Gartzea in the 9th minute of play forced Montiel's goalkeeper Denis Tabor to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Conrado Gartzea blasted a shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Denis Tabor having to make a save. In the 14th minute Conrado Gartzea shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Denis Tabor saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Feliciano Gasteiz blasted a shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Denis Tabor having to make a save. In the 30th minute, Feliciano Gasteiz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Eduardo Herauso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hermengildo Pancho having to interfere. Montiel's Denis Tabor played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Conrado Gartzea in the 36th minute of play. When Benicio Leguizamón fell near the penalty area in the 36th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Montiel's protests and gave Benicio Leguizamón a yellow card for diving instead. Benicio Leguizamón kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. After 44 minutes of play, Saguara FC's Feliciano Gasteiz made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Denis Tabor was left in no man's land by his defense there! The Montiel players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Saguara FC were winning 0-1.

With a little luck, Montiel's Denis Tabor got control of the ball when Conrado Gartzea tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 55th match minute, Montiel was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Benicio Leguizamón to maneuver through the defense. After 56 played minutes, Saguara FC's Ezequiel Rutenio shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Denis Tabor came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Saguara FC reached it. After 57 played minutes Montiel got a freekick which was hit by Arturo Dominic. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Conrado Gartzea during the 63rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Conrado Gartzea kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. Felipe Uhin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Feliciano Gasteiz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Felipe Uhin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Hermengildo Pancho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Feliciano Gasteiz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 84th minute, Montiel's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Conrado Gartzea fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. The supporters of Saguara FC booed when Montiel was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aureliano Blai didn't get a good kick on the ball. Feliciano Gasteiz's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Denis Tabor read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 87th minute of play. Conrado Gartzea could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 94th minute of the match, but Denis Tabor made a huge save. Eduardo Herauso struck a weak shot in the 96th minute. Hermengildo Pancho didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Montiel. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Saguara FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
