Saguara FC's Hermengildo Pancho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ruperto Dantel in the 20th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Conrado Gartzea's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bruno Prejun was relentless in the 25th minute of the game. Conrado Gartzea might have been able to make a better finish in the 46th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Bruno Prejun. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Conrado Gartzea ran back to his position shaking his head.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Conrado Gartzea made a kick off. Leonel Sanson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Bruno Prejun tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 57 minutes into the match, Rodo FC's goal looked a bit too open when Conrado Gartzea came free, but Bruno Prejun reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bruno Prejun showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jonas Lorien in the 60th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Rodo FC's zone, Conrado Gartzea stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bruno Prejun came out of the goal and Conrado Gartzea tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Flavio Oxarra charged in rather forcefully in the 66th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Flavio Oxarra the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Rodo FC booed when Saguara FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Flavio Oxarra didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hermengildo Pancho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anastasio Mikolas, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. Hermengildo Pancho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anastasio Mikolas in the 76th minute of the match. Rodo FC's Bruno Prejun played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Conrado Gartzea in the 77th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Rodo FC's zone, Conrado Gartzea stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bruno Prejun came out of the goal and Conrado Gartzea tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 92nd minute of the game, Conrado Gartzea landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. When Osvaldo Lobo fell near the penalty area in the 93rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Rodo FC's protests and gave Osvaldo Lobo a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Rodo FC getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Osvaldo Lobo hit a great ball. It was beautiful to see Saguara FC's Feliciano Gasteiz in action when he in the 95th minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! Despite being the better team, Saguara FC failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
