Venancio Bittor charged in rather forcefully in the 44th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. With his leg Enzo Hermelando managed to avoid a goal in the 48thth minute, when Frontera FC's Ariel Natal fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

After a rather tough play, Frontera FC's Bernardino Cheche got a free kick in the 51st minute. After 54 minutes of play Frontera FC's Venancio Bittor was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After a defensive mix-up in Frontera FC's zone, Florencio Karlo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Basilio Cristofor came out of the goal and Florencio Karlo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 58th minute the ball was on its way in behind Frontera FC's goalkeeper Basilio Cristofor, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Gerardo Sayveon came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the Pocitos fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gerardo Sayveon couldn't finish the play. Enzo Hermelando took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ariel Natal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 73rd minute, Fabio Lekubegi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Frontera FC booed when Pocitos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alonzo Eztebe didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Pocitos's zone, Ariel Natal stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Enzo Hermelando came out of the goal and Ariel Natal tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Serafin Nabar struck a weak shot in the 80th minute. Enzo Hermelando didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Frontera FC. A collision led to Frontera FC getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Ariel Natal hit a great ball. In the 87th minute, Florencio Karlo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 89th match minute, Pocitos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alonzo Eztebe to maneuver through the defense. In the 92nd minute, Ariel Natal made a precise shot to the right of Enzo Hermelando. Pocitos's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Frontera FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Pocitos had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
