When Anastasio Mikolas came up free with the goalie in the 29th minute, the Rodo FC fans jumped to their feet. After having played for 31 minutes, Anastasio Mikolas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rodo FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Anastasio Mikolas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Vicente Oroitz kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. After 40 played minutes Rodo FC got a freekick which was hit by Marcelo Xabat. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Felipe Uhin made a kick off. The Rodo FC fans' excitement grew in the 65th match minute when Rodo FC's Anastasio Mikolas looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After a defensive mix-up in Montiel's zone, Ruperto Dantel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Denis Tabor came out of the goal and Ruperto Dantel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 72 minutes into the match, Rodo FC's goal looked a bit too open when Felipe Uhin came free, but Bruno Prejun reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Denis Tabor showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Orlando Fliz, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. Marcelo Xabat's late challenge caught a Montiel's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Marcelo Xabat helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Rodo FC getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Marcelo Xabat hit a great ball. 88 minutes into the match, Montiel's goal looked a bit too open when Anastasio Mikolas came free, but Denis Tabor reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 89 minutes, Ruperto Dantel managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rodo FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ruperto Dantel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 91st minute the ball was on its way in behind Montiel's goalkeeper Denis Tabor, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Montiel's Denis Tabor played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ruperto Dantel in the 96th minute of play. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Rodo FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Montiel had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
