Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 17 minutes of play, Huracán FC Espora's Lorenzo Cesario made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Basilio Cristofor was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Jonathan Oskarbi came up free with the goalie in the 21st minute, the Huracán FC Espora fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jonathan Oskarbi couldn't finish the play. In the 22nd minute, Mauro Bazil hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Camilo Walme made in the 25th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Serafin Nabar however managed to control. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gustavo Bernaldo in the 31st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Basilio Cristofor prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ariel Natal could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 33rd minute of the match, but Eleuterio Montrelle made a huge save. Jonathan Oskarbi kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. Ariel Natal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ariel Natal made a well adjusted shot against goal in the 40thth minute coming free in front of the goal, but Eleuterio Montrelle would not let the ball come through at any expense and made a nice save by the left post. After 44 played minutes, Frontera FC's Robustiano Micael shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Eleuterio Montrelle came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Frontera FC reached it. 45 minutes into the match, Huracán FC Espora's goalkeeper Eleuterio Montrelle had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ariel Natal. After a rather tough play, Frontera FC's Venancio Bittor got a free kick in the 46th minute. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Emilio Papo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, Frontera FC's Basilio Cristofor got control of the ball when Gustavo Bernaldo tried to sneak it across the goal line. The referee showed Mauro Bazil the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Basilio Cristofor was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Gustavo Bernaldo showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-2 in the 76 minute of play. Huracán FC Espora's Gustavo Bernaldo got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 94 minutes into the match, Huracán FC Espora's goal looked a bit too open when Ariel Maura came free, but Eleuterio Montrelle reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Basilio Cristofor stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gustavo Bernaldo's shot from short distance in the 95th minute.
