Alonzo Eztebe showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-1. 22 minutes into the match, Emil's goal looked a bit too open when Venancio Nahia came free, but Joel Fernado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Pocitos booed when Emil was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gogo Xabat didn't get a good kick on the ball. Vitin Sorriva fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Enzo Hermelando having to interfere. Joel Fernado took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Florencio Karlo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 62nd minute Pocitos were awarded a corner. After having played for 64 minutes, Pedro Talló managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Emil's supporters crossed their fingers, but Pedro Talló was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gerardo Sayveon in the 73rd minute of play forced Emil's goalkeeper Joel Fernado to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Vitin Sorriva fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Enzo Hermelando having to interfere. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pedro Talló couldn't finish the play. Enzo Hermelando was out of position in the 90 minute of play, and Vitin Sorriva capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Vitin Sorriva really showed his touch with that goal: 2-4. In the 93rd minute, Pedro Talló ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Enzo Hermelando was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-5. After some fancy dribbling in the 97th minute, Pedro Talló managed to get in a good position for a shot. Emil's supporters rose to their feet, but Pedro Talló was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Enzo Hermelando breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the match was over Emil could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Pocitos throughout the match.
