Augusto Isauro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anastasio Mikolas, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. Jonas Vermudo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bruno Prejun having to interfere. If Ruperto Dantel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet as Ruperto Dantel kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Augusto Isauro. That made the score 1-0 in the 27 minute of play. With a little luck, Plátanos AFC's Augusto Isauro got control of the ball when Ruperto Dantel tried to sneak it across the goal line. Higinio Mannie's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bruno Prejun read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 36th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Bartolo Odilon during the 37th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Bartolo Odilon hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. In the 39th minute, Luis Abreu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 73 minutes of play, Plátanos AFC's Higinio Mannie made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Bruno Prejun was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 79th minute Anastasio Mikolas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Augusto Isauro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Ruperto Dantel came up free with the goalie in the 79th minute, the Rodo FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ruperto Dantel couldn't finish the play. In the 83rdth minute of the game Higinio Mannie who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Rodo FC's Bruno Prejun was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anastasio Mikolas in the 89th minute of play forced Plátanos AFC's goalkeeper Augusto Isauro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Anastasio Mikolas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 96 minutes, Isaac Odon mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Plátanos AFC and the Rodo FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 96th match minute, Plátanos AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Isaac Odon to maneuver through the defense. In the 98th minute Ruperto Dantel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Augusto Isauro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
