After a defensive mix-up in Pocitos's zone, Jonas Vermudo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Enzo Hermelando came out of the goal and Jonas Vermudo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jonas Vermudo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Enzo Hermelando tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Augusto Isauro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Florencio Karlo in the 28th minute of the match. Florencio Karlo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Augusto Isauro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 32nd minute, Higinio Mannie reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Enzo Hermelando. The goal made the score 1-1. The supporters of Pocitos booed when Plátanos AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Igor Francesco didn't get a good kick on the ball. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Higinio Mannie to make the kick off. Enzo Hermelando took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Higinio Mannie, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Gerardo Sayveon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 57th minute, Igor Francesco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gerardo Sayveon might have been able to make a better finish in the 61st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Augusto Isauro. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. After a rather tough play, Plátanos AFC's Igor Francesco got a free kick in the 89th minute. The audience was convinced that Florencio Karlo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Augusto Isauro was relentless in the 91st minute of the game. Pocitos's Enzo Hermelando played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jonas Vermudo in the 94th minute of play. In the 98th minute, Jonas Vermudo made a precise shot to the right of Enzo Hermelando. Pocitos's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Plátanos AFC had won after a very even match.
