Fabio Lekubegi took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 23rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Saul Edorta. Provolone FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Salvador Nardo in the 26th minute of play forced Pocitos's goalkeeper Enzo Hermelando to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Enzo Hermelando took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Salvador Nardo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Salvador Nardo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Enzo Hermelando tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 37 minutes, Salvador Nardo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Provolone FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Salvador Nardo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 43rd match minute, Provolone FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Teodoro Nesto to maneuver through the defense. Gerardo Sayveon's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 46thth minute, Saul Edorta skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. 48 minutes into the match, Pocitos's goal looked a bit too open when Salvador Nardo came free, but Enzo Hermelando reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Provolone FC's Guaberto Saturnin slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Enzo Hermelando. That made the score 0-1 after 64 minutes of play. 68 minutes into the match, Florencio Karlo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Saul Edorta. Provolone FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Florencio Karlo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Florencio Karlo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Saul Edorta read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 73rd minute of play. When Alonzo Eztebe fell near the penalty area in the 77th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Pocitos's protests and gave Alonzo Eztebe a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Provolone FC booed when Pocitos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alonzo Eztebe didn't get a good kick on the ball. Provolone FC were awarded a corner in the 80th minute after Pocitos's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Maximo Brais took the corner. Florencio Karlo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Saul Edorta having to interfere.
