If Lucio Rainerio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Constantino Estefan didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ubaldo Elizardo went, in the 6th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. The supporters of TeCoji F.C booed when Racing Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zeledon Bartuelo didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 10th match minute, Racing Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mario Austin to maneuver through the defense. The audience held their breath when Pascual Tadzio in the 12th minute of the game managed to trick the opponents defenses and fired away a shot outside the goal on the Amador Anaya's left hand side. If Lucio Rainerio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 18th minute Zeledon Bartuelo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Constantino Estefan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Joaquin Quintana took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 19th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Amador Anaya. Racing Club's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 20th minute, Lucio Rainerio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ambrosio Ricart scored 1-1 in the 22nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Amador Anaya, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Constantino Estefan made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ubaldo Elizardo in the 26th minute. Hugo Hechter fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Amador Anaya having to interfere. In the 31st minute the ball was on its way in behind Racing Club's goalkeeper Amador Anaya, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 37th match minute, TeCoji F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Generoso Rozarius to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lucio Rainerio in the 40th minute of play forced Racing Club's goalkeeper Amador Anaya to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. TeCoji F.C's Pascual Tadzio got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ubaldo Elizardo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Lucio Rainerio to strike the kick off in the second half. After 53 played minutes, TeCoji F.C's Niceto Giro shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Amador Anaya came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in TeCoji F.C reached it. If Lucio Rainerio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 61 minutes into the match, Joaquin Quintana sent off a long shot that looked like it was going straight into the goal, but because Amador Anaya threw himself in his full length he managed to grip the ball by the left post, and there was no goal for Joaquin Quintana this time. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lucio Rainerio in the 66th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Amador Anaya saved Racing Club from getting behind. Zeledon Bartuelo hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. Amador Anaya stood somewhat misplaced when Lucio Rainerio came free in front of goal and shot 1-2 to the left of him in the 79 minute. When Ambrosio Ricart came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the TeCoji F.C fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ambrosio Ricart couldn't finish the play. Racing Club's Amador Anaya played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lucio Rainerio in the 87th minute of play. In the 94th minute of the match Niceto Giro sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Amador Anaya skillfully saved the ball. If Alfonso Lizar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. TeCoji F.C played a much better game than Racing Club and deserved their victory. The Racing Club players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
