In the 32nd minute of the match Almagro got a corner. Magno's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Severino Honrio ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Almagro's Severino Honrio to fire away a dangerous shot which Abel Domeka despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Marco Elazar's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Abel Domeka read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 33rd minute of play. Leandro Kelemen struck a weak shot in the 35th minute. Melquiades Gaspard didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Magno. The audience was convinced that Adrian Haitz's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Melquiades Gaspard was relentless in the 64th minute of the game. After 68 played minutes Magno got a freekick which was hit by Jonathan Ganix. If Marco Elazar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute.
