Prospero Leobardo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Celedonio Rolado read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 13th minute of play. Prospero Leobardo might have been able to make a better finish in the 20th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Celedonio Rolado. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Prospero Leobardo ran back to his position shaking his head. When Gonzalo Abeijon came up free with the goalie in the 23rd minute, the Boulogne City fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gonzalo Abeijon couldn't finish the play. Prospero Leobardo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Celedonio Rolado having to interfere. The supporters of Picante Picante booed when Boulogne City was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eriberto Osorio didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, Boulogne City's Hermengildo Jenaro got control of the ball when Constantino Elia tried to sneak it across the goal line. Fidel Acostas short, quick shot in the 64thth minute got Hermengildo Jenaro to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After a rather tough play, Boulogne City's Leon Sayveon got a free kick in the 66th minute. After having played for 68 minutes, Gonzalo Abeijon managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Boulogne City's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gonzalo Abeijon was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 74 minutes into the game, Ciro Jax was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Boulogne City's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Picante Picante the free kick. Celedonio Rolado showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Prospero Leobardo, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. After 83 minutes of play, Boulogne City's Gonzalo Abeijon made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Celedonio Rolado was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Prospero Leobardo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Boulogne City's Gonzalo Abeijon in the 94th minute got a chance for a shot 94th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Prospero Leobardo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 97th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the referee ended the match the Boulogne City players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
