The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 10 minutes into the game, San Pedro FC's Cirilo Kimetz nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Bernabe Laurin made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Hawaii Football Club's Bernabe Laurin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jesus Dantel in the 14th minute of play. In the 16th minute Jesus Dantel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bernabe Laurin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 18 minutes in the game, Jesus Dantel dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Eleuterio Eutropio during the 19th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of San Pedro FC booed when Hawaii Football Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eleuterio Eutropio didn't get a good kick on the ball. 21 minutes into the game, Jesus Dantel lined in a short shot 3-0 behind a frustrated Bernabe Laurin. In the 27th minute, San Pedro FC's Jesus Dantel ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Bernabe Laurin. Bernabe Laurin yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 4-0. After having played for 30 minutes, Nestor Fernendo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. San Pedro FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nestor Fernendo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a little luck, Hawaii Football Club's Bernabe Laurin got control of the ball when Jesus Dantel tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 36 played minutes Hawaii Football Club got a freekick which was hit by Adrian Gonzalez. Elias Vistruario, 37 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. A collision led to Hawaii Football Club getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Cristo Janpier hit a great ball. Jesus Dantel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bernabe Laurin having to interfere. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Claudio Cebo made the kick off in the second half. Nestor Fernendo scored 5-0 in the 53rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Bernabe Laurin, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Cirilo Kimetz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 70 minutes into the match, Hawaii Football Club's goal looked a bit too open when Jesus Dantel came free, but Bernabe Laurin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match clock showed 73 minutes, the score became 6-0 when Jesus Dantel sped through Hawaii Football Club's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Bernabe Laurin. Jesus Dantel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bernabe Laurin having to interfere. When the match clock showed 78 minutes, the score became 7-0 when Jesus Dantel sped through Hawaii Football Club's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Bernabe Laurin. San Pedro FC's Cirilo Kimetz got a good chance for a goal in the 81st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 83rdth minute of the game Jesus Dantel who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Hawaii Football Club's Bernabe Laurin was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Cirilo Kimetz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bernabe Laurin having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jesus Dantel in the 91st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bernabe Laurin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Cirilo Kimetz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bernabe Laurin having to interfere. There was no doubt that San Pedro FC were the better team. San Pedro FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
