Enzo Orlin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Blas Quintan having to interfere. 47 minutes into the match, Puchuzún's Honorato Sandaili sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Florentino Peio narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The Puchuzún players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Hielo y Fuego AC were winning 0-1.

When the final whistle sounded Hielo y Fuego AC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Puchuzún.
