The supporters of Deportivo Pedrano booed when Puchuzún was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mariano Ortzi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gualterio Shepherd sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Oscar Lixandro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Teodosio Pirmin stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Honorato Sandaili's shot from short distance in the 30th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Honorato Sandaili in the 32nd minute of play forced Deportivo Pedrano's goalkeeper Teodosio Pirmin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Oscar Lixandro in the 39thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Teodosio Pirmin, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Oscar Lixandro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Teodosio Pirmin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Alejandro Barros had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eustaquio Ieltxu kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. Blas Quintan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alejandro Barros, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Gualterio Shepherd made the kick off in the second half. Oscar Lixandro might have been able to make a better finish in the 52nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Teodosio Pirmin. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Oscar Lixandro ran back to his position shaking his head. Blas Quintan stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gualterio Shepherd's shot from short distance in the 56th minute. When the match had gone on for 58 minutes, Gualterio Shepherd took a quick shot and it went in 0-1 without a chance for Blas Quintan to make any attempt to save it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rodrigo Vitin in the 63rd minute of play forced Deportivo Pedrano's goalkeeper Teodosio Pirmin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 66th minute, Honorato Sandaili ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Teodosio Pirmin was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Teodosio Pirmin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Honorato Sandaili, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. In the 76th minute Honorato Sandaili shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Teodosio Pirmin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Godofredo Reyes kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. Blas Quintan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gualterio Shepherd in the 79th minute of the match. Gualterio Shepherd sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Godofredo Reyes helped the player get up and apologised. Honorato Sandaili fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Teodosio Pirmin having to interfere. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
