The referee gave Los Fresnos FC a penalty, 12 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Tobias Dalmai, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Tio MIKE's Fidel Eyague. 0-1. A collision led to Tio MIKE getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Genaro Lleir hit a great ball. When Genaro Lleir fell near the penalty area in the 26th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Tio MIKE's protests and gave Genaro Lleir a yellow card for diving instead. Genaro Lleir kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. Tobias Dalmai shot a long shot in the 27th minute and a light blocked Fidel Eyague hadn't a chance when the ball went into goal on his right side. It was 0-2. Fidel Eyague showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eduardo Aureo in the 33rd minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Los Fresnos FC's zone, Jorge Ugaitz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pablo Munio came out of the goal and Jorge Ugaitz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Urbano Guillen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Pablo Munio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Pablo Munio made an important save on a dangerous shot by Urbano Guillen in the 44th minute. If Lisandro Matai had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After the first half Los Fresnos FC were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Jorge Ugaitz made the kick off in the second half. Pablo Munio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jorge Ugaitz in the 55th minute of play. 57 minutes into the game, Tio MIKE's Urbano Guillen nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Pablo Munio made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. Jorge Ugaitz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pablo Munio having to interfere. In the 63rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Los Fresnos FC's goalkeeper Pablo Munio, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 66th minute, Los Fresnos FC's Lisandro Matai dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-3. Lisandro Matai fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fidel Eyague having to interfere. Urbano Guillen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Pablo Munio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
