Leandro Eguntsenti was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 13th minute, Lisandro Matai got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Los Fresnos FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Leonides Betadur was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Eduardo Aureo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After the first half Los Fresnos FC were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Eduardo Aureo in the 58thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Leandro Eguntsenti, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. An unexpected shot in the 66th minute by Eduardo Aureo got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Santos Garcia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Pablo Munio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Eustacio Udalaitz in the 83rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. Eduardo Aureo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Leandro Eguntsenti tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Celedonio Erruki struck a weak shot in the 92nd minute. Leandro Eguntsenti didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Los Fresnos FC. If Lisandro Matai had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 96 minutes, Eustacio Udalaitz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Argentino de Castelar's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eustacio Udalaitz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Los Fresnos FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
