Leandro Benvide might have been able to make a better finish in the 2nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gaspar Napier. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Leandro Benvide ran back to his position shaking his head. If Leandro Benvide had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Teo Peruanton hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. In the 16th minute, Cesar Tancredo sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and CA MATIENZO's Casimiro Kimetz didn't even have to move. Casimiro Kimetz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Remigio Honrio in the 18th minute. In the 19th match minute, CA MATIENZO was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anastasio Txurio to maneuver through the defense. 20 minutes into the game, one of CA MATIENZO:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. CA MATIENZO:s Casimiro Kimetz showed great skill when he stopped Cesar Tancredo:s penalty. Gaspar Napier didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Leandro Benvide went, in the 24th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. A collision led to CA MATIENZO getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Dionisio Iyan hit a great ball. Remigio Honrio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 36th minute of the match, but Casimiro Kimetz made a huge save. 42 minutes into the match, Carahuasi AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Angel Iago came free, but Gaspar Napier reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Casimiro Kimetz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hernan Lico in the 46th minute of play.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Angel Iago to make the kick off. Casimiro Kimetz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hernan Lico, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. Angel Iago fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gaspar Napier having to interfere. Gaspar Napier came out of the goal in the 56th minute to try and stop a shot by CA MATIENZO's Leandro Benvide. But to his dismay, Leandro Benvide quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Gaspar Napier showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Angel Iago, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 65th minute, Hernan Lico managed to get in a good position for a shot. Carahuasi AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Hernan Lico was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Casimiro Kimetz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 66 minutes into the game, Hernan Lico cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Casimiro Kimetz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Casimiro Kimetz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Santiago Rubio went, in the 71st minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. Remigio Honrio kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. In the 83rd minute Angel Iago shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gaspar Napier saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Angel Iago fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gaspar Napier having to interfere. In the 97th minute, Angel Iago fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Gaspar Napier, passed just outside the right post. 98 minutes into the match, Carahuasi AFC's goalkeeper Gaspar Napier had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Leandro Benvide. The CA MATIENZO players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Carahuasi AFC from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
