La Scaloneta's Hipolito Ricart played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bernabe Bastia in the 36th minute of play. Braulio Benat sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 41 minutes into the match, Bernabe Bastia had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Hipolito Ricart. La Scaloneta's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Bernabe Bastia was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Hipolito Ricart showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carolo Peter, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. The wind increased when Bernabe Bastia made the kick off in the second half. Placido Polo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 53rd minute of the match, but Hipolito Ricart made a huge save. Hipolito Ricart was a little too slow when Carolo Peter got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 56th minute. The score was now 0-3. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bernabe Bastia in the 93rd minute of play forced La Scaloneta's goalkeeper Hipolito Ricart to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bagual's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
