Spectators: 7258 (Terracing: 5445, Seating: 1669, VIP seats: 144) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Aaron Kepa took the kick off in the first half of the match. Club Atletico Peñarol's Aaron Kepa got a good chance for a goal in the 5th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Casimiro Kimetz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Owe Simmelkiær's shot from short distance in the 6th minute. 8 minutes into the game, Club Atletico Peñarol's Jose Frances nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Casimiro Kimetz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. After 12 minutes, Owe Simmelkiær made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. CA MATIENZO's Casimiro Kimetz tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 15 minutes into the match, Aaron Kepa notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of CA MATIENZO's Casimiro Kimetz. Casimiro Kimetz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 19th minute, Owe Simmelkiær made a precise shot to the right of Casimiro Kimetz. CA MATIENZO's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. When Aaron Kepa came up free with the goalie in the 21st minute, the Club Atletico Peñarol fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aaron Kepa couldn't finish the play. Pascual Gaspard showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arnaldo Batista, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. After 24 played minutes CA MATIENZO got a freekick which was hit by Anastasio Txurio. In the 25th minute, Owe Simmelkiær ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Casimiro Kimetz was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-5. If Owe Simmelkiær had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Owe Simmelkiær during the 33rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. When Abel Macario came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the Club Atletico Peñarol fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Abel Macario couldn't finish the play. Casimiro Kimetz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jose Frances in the 41st minute of the match. 43 minutes into the match, CA MATIENZO's goal looked a bit too open when Jose Frances came free, but Casimiro Kimetz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 44 minutes into the match, CA MATIENZO's goal looked a bit too open when Owe Simmelkiær came free, but Casimiro Kimetz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The wind increased when Angel Iago made the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute, Silvio Corderall got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 56 minutes into the match, CA MATIENZO's goal looked a bit too open when Silvio Corderall came free, but Casimiro Kimetz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 58th minute, Silvio Corderall managed to get in a good position for a shot. Club Atletico Peñarol's supporters rose to their feet, but Silvio Corderall was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Casimiro Kimetz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With his leg Casimiro Kimetz managed to avoid a goal in the 60thth minute, when Club Atletico Peñarol's Owe Simmelkiær fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After a defensive mix-up in CA MATIENZO's zone, Modesto Jaizki stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Casimiro Kimetz came out of the goal and Modesto Jaizki tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 64 minutes into the match, CA MATIENZO's goal looked a bit too open when Silvio Corderall came free, but Casimiro Kimetz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Casimiro Kimetz was a little too slow when Aaron Kepa got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 65th minute. The score was now 0-7. When Casimiro Celipe came up free with the goalie in the 69th minute, the Club Atletico Peñarol fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Casimiro Celipe couldn't finish the play. Silvio Corderall fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Casimiro Kimetz having to interfere. Club Atletico Peñarol's Silvio Corderall got a good chance for a goal in the 72nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 74th minute Leandro Benvide shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pascual Gaspard saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Aaron Kepa scored 0-8 in the 75th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Casimiro Kimetz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a defensive mix-up in CA MATIENZO's zone, Silvio Corderall stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Casimiro Kimetz came out of the goal and Silvio Corderall tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jose Frances's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Casimiro Kimetz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 84th minute of play. After 85 minutes, Owe Simmelkiær made it 0-10 with a short kick to the right side. CA MATIENZO's Casimiro Kimetz tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 95th minute, Silvio Corderall got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Club Atletico Peñarol's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
