Hipolito Ricart showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristo Salvadore in the 26th minute of the match. 31 minutes into the match, Olimpik Columbian's goalkeeper Leon Rafel had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Eleuterio Tirso. Leon Rafel stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Eleuterio Tirso's shot from short distance in the 33rd minute. 34 minutes into the match, La Scaloneta's Eleuterio Tirso sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Leon Rafel narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Olimpik Columbian's attentive Narciso Quinteros managed to snatch the ball when Salvador Bermudez made a throw-in in the 37th minute of the game. Leon Rafel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eleuterio Tirso in the 38th minute of play. After a rather tough play, La Scaloneta's Eleuterio Tirso got a free kick in the 40th minute. Simon Arias hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. In the 48th minute, Eleuterio Tirso got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Olimpik Columbian's Ruben Eleder quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Salvador Bermudez, made in the 60th minute of the game. After a rather tough play, La Scaloneta's Daniel Otoniel got a free kick in the 82nd minute. In the 85th minute, Salvador Bermudez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Olimpik Columbian getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Ovidio Feliz hit a great ball. In the 91st minute, Teofilo Mino fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Cristo Salvadore came free with the goalkeeper in the 92nd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Hipolito Ricart could save by the left post. Braulio Benat charged in rather forcefully in the 95th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Braulio Benat the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Braulio Benat hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. Despite being the better team, Olimpik Columbian failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
