Rossi AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Virgilio Macerio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Guillermo Raphael breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in Ozono Futbol Club's zone, Virgilio Macerio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Guillermo Raphael came out of the goal and Virgilio Macerio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Virgilio Macerio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 64th minute, Epifanio Ioritz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 67th minute, Virgilio Macerio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Blas Emeterio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Blas Emeterio came up free with the goalie in the 73rd minute, the Ozono Futbol Club fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Blas Emeterio couldn't finish the play. Angelo Kemen's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cipriano Bizi read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 76th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Virgilio Macerio in the 98th minute of play forced Ozono Futbol Club's goalkeeper Guillermo Raphael to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Ozono Futbol Club were victorious despite being under pressure from Rossi AFC for much of the match.
