After 65 played minutes Irala AFC got a freekick which was hit by Luciano Chale. After a defensive mix-up in Irala AFC's zone, Camilo Ezkerra stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ivan Duarte came out of the goal and Camilo Ezkerra tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jorge Presebal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Francisco Flores having to interfere. Irala AFC's Inocencio Azevedo pulled a muscle in his leg after 77 minutes and couldn't finish the game. 77 minutes into the game, Jorge Marz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Lamarque's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Irala AFC the free kick. A collision led to Lamarque getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. The supporters of Lamarque booed when Irala AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jorge Presebal didn't get a good kick on the ball. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. After 89 played minutes Irala AFC got a freekick which was hit by Gonzalo Otoniel. Camilo Ezkerra received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. Ivan Duarte tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
