Jairo Senen was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 6 minutes into the match. In the 7th match minute, Messirve F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jairo Senen to maneuver through the defense. Americo Gaskon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eloy Tiniebra in the 8th minute of the match. When Amancio Artal fell near the penalty area in the 11th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Grokagamok FC's protests and gave Amancio Artal a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Grokagamok FC getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Amancio Artal hit a great ball. Luis Gonsalvo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alberto Viator in the 13th minute of play. If Teo Lamberto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 27th match minute, Grokagamok FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Victoriano Lop to maneuver through the defense. Luis Gonsalvo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alberto Viator in the 30th minute of the match. 32 minutes into the match, Grokagamok FC's goal looked a bit too open when Alberto Viator came free, but Luis Gonsalvo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ricardo Lauro in the 34th minute of play forced Grokagamok FC's goalkeeper Luis Gonsalvo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alberto Viator received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Luis Gonsalvo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Ricardo Lauro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 38th minute, Alberto Viator got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 40 minutes into the match, Grokagamok FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ricardo Lauro came free, but Luis Gonsalvo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 46th minute the ball was on its way in behind Grokagamok FC's goalkeeper Luis Gonsalvo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 47th minute Alberto Viator shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luis Gonsalvo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Eloy Tiniebra was the one to do the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Messirve F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Amancio Artal came free, but Americo Gaskon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 68th minute Eloy Tiniebra shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Americo Gaskon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alberto Viator kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. Luis Gonsalvo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Filomeno Izel in the 78th minute. After 85 minutes of play, Grokagamok FC's Benedicto Niguel made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Americo Gaskon was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Alberto Viator had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 95 minutes into the match, Anier Claris had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Luis Gonsalvo. Grokagamok FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Anier Claris was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. The Grokagamok FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Messirve F.C's performance. The match ended with a win for Messirve F.C.
