The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 5th match minute, Centro Galicia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pedro Abancens to maneuver through the defense. After 14 minutes, Alfredo Emesto made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Grokagamok FC's Luis Gonsalvo tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Alfredo Emesto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Grokagamok FC getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Carmelo Austin hit a great ball. 19 minutes into the game, Centro Galicia's Alfredo Emesto nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Luis Gonsalvo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. 22 minutes into the match, Grokagamok FC's goal looked a bit too open when Alfredo Emesto came free, but Luis Gonsalvo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Centro Galicia getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Remigio Illan hit a great ball. After having played for 28 minutes, Clemente Bernal managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Centro Galicia's supporters crossed their fingers, but Clemente Bernal was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Luis Gonsalvo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alfredo Emesto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Grokagamok FC's Amancio Artal pulled a muscle in his leg after 32 minutes and couldn't finish the game. When Remigio Illan fell near the penalty area in the 32nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Centro Galicia's protests and gave Remigio Illan a yellow card for diving instead. In the 33rd minute, Remigio Illan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After recieving a nice pass, Grokagamok FC's Ulises Justin tried to score from far away in the 34th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. After some careless play in the Grokagamok FC defense, Alfredo Emesto kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Luis Gonsalvo. The Grokagamok FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Luis Gonsalvo should have stopped the shot. In the 41st minute, Alfredo Emesto ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Luis Gonsalvo was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. Clemente Bernal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Luis Gonsalvo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alfredo Emesto might have been able to make a better finish in the 51st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Luis Gonsalvo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Alfredo Emesto ran back to his position shaking his head. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-4.

Grokagamok FC's Luis Gonsalvo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 58th minute of the match, managed to save Grokagamok FC from getting a goal against them. 63 minutes into the match, Grokagamok FC's goal looked a bit too open when Alfredo Emesto came free, but Luis Gonsalvo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 66th minute, Alfredo Emesto got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 74 minutes into the match, Clemente Bernal notched a goal, 0-5, to the right of Grokagamok FC's Luis Gonsalvo. Luis Gonsalvo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Clemente Bernal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Benedicto Niguel came up free with the goalie in the 80th minute, the Grokagamok FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Benedicto Niguel couldn't finish the play. 83 minutes into the match, Grokagamok FC's goalkeeper Luis Gonsalvo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Clemente Bernal. When the match had gone on for 91 minutes, Alfredo Emesto took a quick shot and it went in 0-6 without a chance for Luis Gonsalvo to make any attempt to save it. In the 96th minute Alfredo Emesto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luis Gonsalvo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alfredo Emesto in the 97th minute of play forced Grokagamok FC's goalkeeper Luis Gonsalvo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Centro Galicia's Clemente Bernal came free and shot a quick shot against goal 98 minutes in the game, fortunately Luis Gonsalvo had problems saving as it came toward the left post. Centro Galicia played a much better game than Grokagamok FC and deserved their victory. The Grokagamok FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
