Alberto Viator blasted a shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ivan Duarte having to make a save. If Alberto Viator had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cleto Laffitte took the ball and in the 19 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ivan Duarte. Ivan Duarte dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Amador Santio's late challenge caught a Messirve F.C's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Amador Santio helped the player get up and apologised. Alberto Viator fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ivan Duarte having to interfere. Alberto Viator sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 35th minute of the match Ricardo Lauro sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ivan Duarte skillfully saved the ball. Cleto Laffitte did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 3-0 to the left of a surprised Ivan Duarte 37 minutes into the match. Cleto Laffitte who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 41stth minute tested the skills of Ivan Duarte when he managed to save the team from getting behind. If Anier Claris had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 44th minute, Alberto Viator reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Ivan Duarte. The goal made the score 4-0. A hard shot 48 in the game by Cleto Laffitte from a close distance when the talented Ivan Duarte managed to make a qualified save. Irala AFC's players were relieved. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Cleto Laffitte made a kick off. In the 57th minute Alberto Viator shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ivan Duarte saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 58 minutes into the match, Irala AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Cleto Laffitte came free, but Ivan Duarte reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Cleto Laffitte's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ivan Duarte was relentless in the 60th minute of the game. Ricardo Lauro hit a great ball. 81 minutes into the match, Irala AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Cleto Laffitte came free, but Ivan Duarte reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Inocencio Azevedo kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. Ivan Duarte took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cleto Laffitte, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 90 minutes into the match, Messirve F.C's Anier Claris sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ivan Duarte narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 93 played minutes Irala AFC got a freekick which was hit by Basilio Ladio. Irala AFC's Ivan Duarte played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cleto Laffitte in the 97th minute of play. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Messirve F.C fully deserved thier win.
