In the 8th match minute, ChuaveTeam was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pascual Sasoin to maneuver through the defense. ChuaveTeam's Anier Baristo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arnulfo Diegotxe in the 18th minute of play. Anier Baristo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eriberto Bieito in the 22nd minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Isidoro Constancio during the 22nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to ChuaveTeam getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Isidoro Constancio hit a great ball. In the 24th minute, Saturnino Ugutz made a precise shot to the right of Anier Baristo. ChuaveTeam's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. The audience was convinced that Saturnino Ugutz's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Anier Baristo was relentless in the 26th minute of the game. An unexpected shot in the 29th minute by Eriberto Toro got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. In the 31st minute, Eriberto Bieito made a precise shot to the right of Anier Baristo. ChuaveTeam's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Eriberto Bieito fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anier Baristo having to interfere. After 43 played minutes Blackwater got a freekick which was hit by Arnulfo Diegotxe. Eriberto Bieito's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Anier Baristo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 46th minute of play. After the first half Blackwater were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Saturnino Ugutz to strike the kick off in the second half. Eriberto Bieito might have been able to make a better finish in the 52nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Anier Baristo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Eriberto Bieito ran back to his position shaking his head. Christian Izel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Anier Baristo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Blackwater's Saturnino Ugutz got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Eriberto Bieito's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Anier Baristo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 63rd minute of play. Anier Baristo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Saturnino Ugutz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Anier Baristo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Saturnino Ugutz's shot from short distance in the 66th minute. Eriberto Bieito fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anier Baristo having to interfere. Eriberto Toro struck a weak shot in the 70th minute. Alfredo Precioso didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ChuaveTeam. Saturnino Ugutz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Anier Baristo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 75th minute Saturnino Ugutz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anier Baristo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eriberto Bieito sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Blackwater's Eriberto Bieito managed to work through ChuaveTeam's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Eriberto Bieito dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. The supporters of Blackwater booed when ChuaveTeam was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Reynaldo Jaume didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Saturnino Ugutz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Anier Baristo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Eriberto Bieito in the 93rd minute. In the 94th minute, Saturnino Ugutz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The ChuaveTeam fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Blackwater were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
