In the 44th minute Norberto Quinto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnaldo Balasi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jesus Txanton stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 55thth minute of the game Silvio Txomin who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Martínez's Arnaldo Balasi was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 62 minutes into the game, Jose Vincente was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Arnaldo Balasi was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Jesus Txanton fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jeremias Tino having to interfere. In the 88th minute, Silvio Txomin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Jesus Txanton had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Filiberto Berriotxoa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 99th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jeremias Tino having to interfere. For all the effort they put into the match, the Real Suciedad F.C players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Martínez.
