Isaias Urdin hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 7th minute, Marciano Ayala managed to get in a good position for a shot. Yaví's supporters rose to their feet, but Marciano Ayala was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fernando Sendoa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 9th minute, Marciano Ayala got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Through an outstanding action, after 17 minutes, Bernardo Jerano successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After 17 played minutes Yaví got a freekick which was hit by Filomeno Ferdinand. If Felix Terciero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gregorio Peli struck a weak shot in the 26th minute. Bernardo Jerano didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Victoria FC. After a rather tough play, Yaví's Filomeno Ferdinand got a free kick in the 28th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Yaví's zone, Candido Conrao stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bernardo Jerano came out of the goal and Candido Conrao tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Pablo Guipuzkoa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fernando Sendoa having to interfere. Pablo Guipuzkoa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Fernando Sendoa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Pablo Guipuzkoa to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 55th match minute, Victoria FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mauro Jaizki to maneuver through the defense. Pablo Guipuzkoa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 64th minute, Filomeno Ferdinand hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Pablo Guipuzkoa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 74 played minutes Yaví got a freekick which was hit by Ambrosio Diagur. Marciano Ayala recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Felix Terciero blasted a shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Bernardo Jerano having to make a save. 0-1 became the score in the 83rd minute when Marciano Ayala elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. With a little luck, Victoria FC's Fernando Sendoa got control of the ball when Marciano Ayala tried to sneak it across the goal line. The supporters of Yaví booed when Victoria FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Humberto Benat didn't get a good kick on the ball. Marciano Ayala fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fernando Sendoa having to interfere. After having played for 92 minutes, Gregorio Peli managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Victoria FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gregorio Peli was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Yaví walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
