Fernando Sendoa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Pastor Franco fell near the penalty area in the 23rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Martínez's protests and gave Pastor Franco a yellow card for diving instead. In the 23rd minute, one of Martínez:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Martínez. A collision led to Victoria FC getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Humberto Benat hit a great ball. Filiberto Berriotxoa kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. Felix Terciero received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Arnaldo Balasi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Felix Terciero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jesus Txanton stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Humberto Benat reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Arnaldo Balasi. The goal made the score 0-3. After 96 played minutes Martínez got a freekick which was hit by Cristian Paul. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Victoria FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
