Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) CanalliTas's Javier Montae started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Cesar Leizarraga recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 6th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Cesar Leizarraga was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 8th minute. River Plate's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Cristobal Senio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cesar Leizarraga in the 8th minute of play. River Plate's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Maximino Basualdo in the 10th minute. A nice corner shot did that Maximino Basualdo got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Cristobal Senio quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. When Cesar Leizarraga came up free with the goalie in the 13th minute, the River Plate fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cesar Leizarraga couldn't finish the play. Florencio Rozarius struck a weak shot in the 15th minute. Cristobal Senio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for River Plate. Nicanor Shantala took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Raul Gomez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 25 played minutes River Plate got a freekick which was hit by Pastor Policarpio. The supporters of CanalliTas booed when River Plate was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pastor Policarpio didn't get a good kick on the ball. 31 minutes into the game, Raul Gomez cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Nicanor Shantala was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Florencio Rozarius's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cristobal Senio read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 39th minute of play. German Eriz hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. When CanalliTas's Javier Montae in the 45th minute got a chance for a shot 45th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye River Plate's goalie prevented a goal. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The wind increased when Cesar Leizarraga made the kick off in the second half. Generoso Pudes might have been able to make a better finish in the 53rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Nicanor Shantala. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Generoso Pudes ran back to his position shaking his head. Nicanor Shantala took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Javier Montae, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Pastor Policarpio hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. CanalliTas's Javier Montae was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 58th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. 61 minutes into the game, Cesar Leizarraga cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Cristobal Senio was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When River Plate's Cesar Leizarraga in the 66th minute got a chance for a shot 66th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cesar Leizarraga in the 69th minute of play forced CanalliTas's goalkeeper Cristobal Senio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 72 minutes into the match, River Plate's goal looked a bit too open when Javier Montae came free, but Nicanor Shantala reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Florencio Rozarius fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cristobal Senio having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 81 minutes, Cesar Leizarraga put it in 2-3 from a short distance just to the right of Cristobal Senio. Nicanor Shantala made an important save on a dangerous shot by Raul Gomez in the 85th minute. Nicanor Shantala was a little too slow when Javier Montae got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 87th minute. The score was now 2-4. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. CanalliTas walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
