Saturnino Criston showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Teofilo Frances, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. Amancio Toli received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Lucio Cedro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Filiberto Toribio fell near the penalty area in the 14th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Carteros FC's protests and gave Filiberto Toribio a yellow card for diving instead. In the 14th minute, Filiberto Toribio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match had been going on for 36 minutes, Carteros FC's Severino Tabor got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Saturnino Criston. Lucio Cedro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fabricio Sansone, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. Amancio Toli sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

A collision led to Victorica AFC getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Celestino Abajas hit a great ball. If Fabio Vito had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. With a little luck, Carteros FC's Lucio Cedro got control of the ball when Amancio Toli tried to sneak it across the goal line. Amancio Toli might have been able to make a better finish in the 81st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Lucio Cedro. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Amancio Toli ran back to his position shaking his head. The referee felt a red card was in order, 86 minutes into the game, when Silverio Papo put in a rough tackle. The referee gave Victorica AFC a penalty, 88 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Celestino Abajas, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Carteros FC's Lucio Cedro. 1-2. When the final whistle sounded Victorica AFC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Carteros FC.
