After 4 minutes, Javier Montae mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the CanalliTas and the All Pink players grew even worse after the yellow card. CanalliTas's Cristobal Senio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Erubiel Laurgain in the 6th minute of play. After having played for 10 minutes, Raul Gomez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. CanalliTas's supporters crossed their fingers, but Raul Gomez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Javier Montae's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Eliseo Polentzi read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 11th minute of play. Leonel Satordi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cristobal Senio having to interfere. When Erubiel Laurgain came up free with the goalie in the 15th minute, the All Pink fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Erubiel Laurgain couldn't finish the play. 23 minutes into the match, All Pink's goalkeeper Eliseo Polentzi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Raul Gomez. The supporters of CanalliTas booed when All Pink was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gaudencio Gartzen didn't get a good kick on the ball. All Pink's Eliseo Polentzi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Javier Montae in the 27th minute of play. Raul Gomez received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Eliseo Polentzi came out and tried to block the shot, but Raul Gomez slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 28th minute. Generoso Pudes's late challenge caught a All Pink's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Generoso Pudes helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of All Pink booed when CanalliTas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Generoso Pudes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Javier Montae might have been able to make a better finish in the 35th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Eliseo Polentzi. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Javier Montae ran back to his position shaking his head. After some careless play in the CanalliTas defense, Erubiel Laurgain kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cristobal Senio. The CanalliTas fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cristobal Senio should have stopped the shot. In the 45th minute, Emiliano Abar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Leonel Satordi was the one to do the kick off. When Leonel Satordi came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the All Pink fans jumped to their feet. Eliseo Polentzi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Javier Montae, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Javier Montae might have been able to make a better finish in the 70th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Eliseo Polentzi. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Javier Montae ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 70th minute, Raul Gomez made a precise shot to the right of Eliseo Polentzi. All Pink's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. After 75 played minutes All Pink got a freekick which was hit by Gaudencio Gartzen. Javier Montae fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eliseo Polentzi having to interfere. Raul Gomez blasted a shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Eliseo Polentzi having to make a save. All Pink's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
