The ball went over the crossbar instead. The crowd rose to their feet as Generoso Telo kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Patricio Ostargi. That made the score 1-0 in the 15 minute of play. After having played for 20 minutes, Generoso Telo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Estrella Feroz's supporters crossed their fingers, but Generoso Telo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 22nd play minutes Generoso Telo shot 2-0, a short shot which went by Patricio Ostargi and just under the crossbar into goal. After 24 minutes, Wilfredo Quintun mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the The Strokes FC and the Estrella Feroz players grew even worse after the yellow card. 28 minutes into the match, Estrella Feroz's Christian Tomi sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Patricio Ostargi narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 32 played minutes Estrella Feroz got a freekick which was hit by Placido Rafel. Cayetano Montrel took the ball and in the 35 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Teodosio Olando. Teodosio Olando dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. Cayetano Montrel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cayetano Montrel struck a weak shot in the 44th minute. Teodosio Olando didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for The Strokes FC. In the 45thth minute of the game Fidel Navarro who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Estrella Feroz's Teodosio Olando was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When Christian Tomi came up free with the goalie in the 67th minute, the Estrella Feroz fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Christian Tomi couldn't finish the play. When the match had gone on for 69 minutes, Fidel Navarro took a quick shot and it went in 2-3 without a chance for Teodosio Olando to make any attempt to save it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Christian Tomi in the 84th minute of play forced The Strokes FC's goalkeeper Patricio Ostargi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 89 minutes of play, The Strokes FC's Cayetano Montrel made it 2-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Teodosio Olando was left in no man's land by his defense there! Teodosio Olando showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fidel Navarro in the 94th minute of the match.
