Herminio Arce received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Patricio Ostargi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to The Strokes FC getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Raul Pabla hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Herminio Arce in the 27th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Patricio Ostargi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 0-1 became the score in the 29th minute when Jaime Cai elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Jaime Cai blasted a shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Patricio Ostargi having to make a save. The supporters of Galisteo booed when The Strokes FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jose Chayo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Patricio Ostargi stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jaime Cai's shot from short distance in the 38th minute. In the 40th minute Ambrosio Gelacio suffered a foot injury and had to be helped off the field. Wilfredo Quintun charged in rather forcefully in the 40th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Wilfredo Quintun the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Galisteo's Leon Rumaldo was substituted for Ambrosio Gelacio. Herminio Arce's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Patricio Ostargi read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 58th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Augusto Medero got free with Patricio Ostargi in the 60th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
