Igor Bernat was a little too slow when Santiago Omero got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 5th minute. The score was now 1-0. Lázaro Larpe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Augusto Etxatxu, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. In the 17th minute Santiago Omero shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Igor Bernat saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Igor Bernat showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Santiago Omero in the 19th minute of the match. Igor Bernat made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Santiago Omero in the 20th minute of play. Underground Futbol's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Santiago Omero received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Igor Bernat tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Salvador Marquez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Igor Bernat having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Pigüé's zone, Santiago Omero stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Igor Bernat came out of the goal and Santiago Omero tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Pigüé's Igor Bernat played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Santiago Omero in the 38th minute of play. Rodrigo Erramun charged in rather forcefully in the 41st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rodrigo Erramun the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Underground Futbol's Rodrigo Erramun got a free kick in the 41st minute. Lázaro Larpe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Damaso Eder in the 44th minute of the match. If Damaso Eder had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 48 played minutes Underground Futbol got a freekick which was hit by Celso Urtungo. After 49 played minutes, Pigüé's Hilario Hori shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Lázaro Larpe came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Pigüé reached it. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The supporters of Underground Futbol booed when Pigüé was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Geronimo Nuno didn't get a good kick on the ball. Santiago Omero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Pigüé's Zacarias Balasi shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 60th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Lázaro Larpe but with some difficulty. Augusto Etxatxu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lázaro Larpe having to interfere. Underground Futbol's Lázaro Larpe proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 71st minute of the match, managed to save Underground Futbol from getting a goal against them. In the 78th match minute, Pigüé was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Damaso Eder to maneuver through the defense. 81 minutes into the match, Underground Futbol's Salvador Marquez sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Igor Bernat narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Salvador Marquez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Igor Bernat having to interfere. Igor Bernat came out of the goal in the 92nd minute to try and stop a shot by Underground Futbol's Santiago Omero. But to his dismay, Santiago Omero quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Underground Futbol had won after a very even match.
