Spectators: 6985 (Terracing: 5441, Seating: 1400, VIP seats: 144) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Placido Edur got the match started through his kick off. After 3 played minutes Acuña got a freekick which was hit by Silvio Bero. Galisteo's Matias Firme suffered a sore foot after 4 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Manuel Piarres charged in rather forcefully in the 4th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Manuel Piarres the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 6th match minute, Acuña was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Manuel Piarres to maneuver through the defense. 13 minutes into the game, Acuña's Placido Edur nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Mario Naldo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. When Manuel Piarres was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 15 minutes had been played. In the 15th match minute, Acuña was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Manuel Piarres to maneuver through the defense. In the 30th minute, Galisteo's Jaime Cai dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. Galisteo's Herminio Arce was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 34th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Augusto Medero took the ball and in the 39 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Genaro Mambru. Genaro Mambru dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-1 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Herminio Arce to strike the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, Acuña's goal looked a bit too open when Herminio Arce came free, but Genaro Mambru reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Galisteo's Augusto Medero got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Acuña's Genaro Mambru played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Augusto Medero in the 61st minute of play. After 62 minutes of play, Galisteo's Jaime Cai made it 5-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Genaro Mambru was left in no man's land by his defense there! Genaro Mambru made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Augusto Medero in the 65th minute of play. When Herminio Arce came up free with the goalie in the 68th minute, the Galisteo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Herminio Arce couldn't finish the play. After having played for 71 minutes, Herminio Arce managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Galisteo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Herminio Arce was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 74th minute, Herminio Arce managed to get in a good position for a shot. Galisteo's supporters rose to their feet, but Herminio Arce was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Genaro Mambru breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Augusto Medero fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Genaro Mambru having to interfere. If Herminio Arce had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 83 minutes into the match, Galisteo's Augusto Medero sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Genaro Mambru narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Genaro Mambru came out of the goal in the 85th minute to try and stop a shot by Galisteo's Herminio Arce. But to his dismay, Herminio Arce quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-1. In the 94th minute, Silvio Bero got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Galisteo walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
