With a little luck, The Strokes FC's Patricio Ostargi got control of the ball when Gerardo Ler tried to sneak it across the goal line. Gerardo Ler received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Patricio Ostargi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Pourtalé AFC's Rosendo Filipo slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Patricio Ostargi. That made the score 1-0 after 14 minutes of play. Rosendo Filipo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Patricio Ostargi having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rosendo Filipo in the 21st minute of play forced The Strokes FC's goalkeeper Patricio Ostargi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Strokes FC's Patricio Ostargi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 31st minute of the match, managed to save The Strokes FC from getting a goal against them. A collision led to The Strokes FC getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Raul Pabla hit a great ball. After recieving a nice pass, Pourtalé AFC's Francisco Leobardo tried to score from far away in the 35th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. The supporters of The Strokes FC booed when Pourtalé AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gerardo Ler didn't get a good kick on the ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Fidel Navarro to strike the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gerardo Ler in the 52nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Patricio Ostargi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After having played for 58 minutes, Gerardo Ler managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pourtalé AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gerardo Ler was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 59 minutes into the match, Rosendo Filipo notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of The Strokes FC's Patricio Ostargi. Patricio Ostargi was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When Pourtalé AFC's Rosendo Filipo in the 64th minute got a chance for a shot 64th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Cayetano Montrel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 98th minute, Cayetano Montrel made a precise shot to the right of Luis Herauso. Pourtalé AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. The Strokes FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
