After 12 played minutes Arbolito FC got a freekick which was hit by Luciano Jago. In the 20th minute, Apolo Romildo fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Roque Reyes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adan Aznar having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roque Reyes in the 24th minute of play forced Arbolito FC's goalkeeper Adan Aznar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luciano Jago got his second yellow card in the match during the 26th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Apolo Romildo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Santiago Frechoso having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Talleres Dream Team's zone, Silvestre Urtzi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Santiago Frechoso came out of the goal and Silvestre Urtzi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Silvestre Urtzi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 51st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Roque Reyes came up free with the goalie in the 54th minute, the Talleres Dream Team fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Roque Reyes couldn't finish the play. If Filiberto Horado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Adan Aznar made an important save on a dangerous shot by Roque Reyes in the 58th minute. 65 minutes into the game, Antonio Deunoro was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Arbolito FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Talleres Dream Team the free kick. The supporters of Talleres Dream Team booed when Arbolito FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Antonio Deunoro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Adan Aznar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Filiberto Horado in the 66th minute of the match. In the 69th minute, Roque Reyes left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Talleres Dream Team fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. When Celestino Erramu fell near the penalty area in the 76th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Talleres Dream Team's protests and gave Celestino Erramu a yellow card for diving instead. Arbolito FC's Silvestre Urtzi got a good chance for a goal in the 79th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Celestino Erramu hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. In the 82nd minute, Teofilo Emmanuel sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Talleres Dream Team's Santiago Frechoso didn't even have to move. Arbolito FC's Silvestre Urtzi got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Talleres Dream Team's Santiago Frechoso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Apolo Romildo in the 85th minute of play. Adan Aznar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Filiberto Horado, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Arbolito FC's Adan Aznar got control of the ball when Roque Reyes tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a rather tough play, Arbolito FC's Silvestre Urtzi got a free kick in the 91st minute. Filiberto Horado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
