Spectators: 7233 (Terracing: 5460, Seating: 1673, VIP seats: 100) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Deportivo Ceco's Baldomero Astudillo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Americo Sandalio in the 10th minute of play. 11 minutes into the game, Mariano Herena was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Deportivo Ceco's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Clorinda the free kick. In the 11th match minute, Deportivo Ceco was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mariano Herena to maneuver through the defense. Rigoberto Suarez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 20th minute, Justino Abadie left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Deportivo Ceco fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Victorino Naelio in the 23rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Silvestre Goito saved Clorinda from getting behind. Baldomero Astudillo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Rigoberto Suarez went, in the 26th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. In the 30th minute Justino Abadie shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Silvestre Goito saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 33rd minute Victorino Naelio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Silvestre Goito saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Justino Abadie to strike the kick off in the second half. Rigoberto Suarez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Baldomero Astudillo having to interfere. Jonathan Egoitz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 67th minute of the match Deportivo Ceco got a corner. Clorinda's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Raul Teodor ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Deportivo Ceco's Raul Teodor to fire away a dangerous shot which Silvestre Goito despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 70th minute, Victorino Naelio ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Silvestre Goito was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. In the 75thth minute of the game Justino Abadie who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Clorinda's Silvestre Goito was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After some careless play in the Deportivo Ceco defense, Americo Sandalio kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Baldomero Astudillo. The Deportivo Ceco fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Baldomero Astudillo should have stopped the shot. Silvestre Goito showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Justino Abadie in the 83rd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Justino Abadie in the 85th minute of play forced Clorinda's goalkeeper Silvestre Goito to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Clorinda's Silvestre Goito got control of the ball when Victorino Naelio tried to sneak it across the goal line. Through an outstanding action, after 90 minutes, Silvestre Goito successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 91st minute, Americo Sandalio left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Clorinda fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-2. Clorinda's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
