In the 15th minute Filiberto Horado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rosendo Umea saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 17thth minute of the game Orlando Erramu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Talleres Dream Team's Santiago Frechoso was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 23rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Talleres Dream Team's goalkeeper Santiago Frechoso, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If German Otsoa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 30th match minute, Talleres Dream Team was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Justo Hodei to maneuver through the defense. In the 32nd minute, Orlando Erramu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Santiago Frechoso was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Roque Reyes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Rosendo Umea tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 39 minutes, Orlando Erramu put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Santiago Frechoso. Santiago Frechoso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Orlando Erramu, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Filiberto Horado made a kick off. After 57 played minutes Thunders got a freekick which was hit by Bonifacio Mon. Basilio Donzel kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 64th minute, Bonifacio Mon managed to get in a good position for a shot. Thunders's supporters rose to their feet, but Bonifacio Mon was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Santiago Frechoso breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Orlando Erramu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 69th minute, Cristian Canor managed to get in a good position for a shot. Thunders's supporters rose to their feet, but Cristian Canor was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Santiago Frechoso breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 70 played minutes Talleres Dream Team got a freekick which was hit by Celestino Erramu. When Orlando Erramu came up free with the goalie in the 78th minute, the Thunders fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Orlando Erramu couldn't finish the play. With 83 minutes on the clock, Basilio Donzel commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 82nd minute of the game. One of Talleres Dream Team:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Thunders:s goal. When the match had been going on for 85 minutes, Thunders's Bonifacio Mon got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Santiago Frechoso. Santiago Frechoso made an important save on a dangerous shot by Orlando Erramu in the 89th minute. Roque Reyes's late challenge caught a Thunders's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Roque Reyes helped the player get up and apologised. In the 93rd match minute, Talleres Dream Team was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Roque Reyes to maneuver through the defense. Santiago Frechoso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Orlando Erramu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thunders's Bonifacio Mon got a good chance for a goal in the 97th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Santiago Frechoso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Orlando Erramu in the 99th minute of the match.
