Benigno Fortun could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 6th minute of the match, but Silvestre Goito made a huge save. After having played for 7 minutes, German Otsoko managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Instituto Atle.Ctral.Cba.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but German Otsoko was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. German Otsoko fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Silvestre Goito having to interfere. Jonathan Egoitz kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. Rigoberto Suarez's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Everardo Nel read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 18th minute of play. If Americo Sandalio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Americo Sandalio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Everardo Nel having to interfere. Silvestre Goito made a fantastic save in the 31st minute, when Benigno Fortun sent off a good shot on target. Benigno Fortun sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and German Otsoko made a kick off. Everardo Nel didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Rigoberto Suarez went, in the 56th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Americo Sandalio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 63rd minute, Anier Mon got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Instituto Atle.Ctral.Cba.'s German Otsoko got a good chance for a goal in the 69th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Benigno Fortun in the 71st minute of play forced Clorinda's goalkeeper Silvestre Goito to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Instituto Atle.Ctral.Cba.'s German Otsoko in the 73rd minute got a chance for a shot 73rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Clorinda's goalie prevented a goal. Instituto Atle.Ctral.Cba.'s Everardo Nel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Americo Sandalio in the 74th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Americo Sandalio in the 76th minute of play forced Instituto Atle.Ctral.Cba.'s goalkeeper Everardo Nel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Everardo Nel came out of the goal in the 77th minute to try and stop a shot by Clorinda's Rigoberto Suarez. But to his dismay, Rigoberto Suarez quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Silvestre Goito showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from German Otsoko in the 80th minute of the match. In the 82nd minute German Otsoko shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Silvestre Goito saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Silvestre Goito took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Benigno Fortun, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Clorinda's Anastasio Edorta got a free kick in the 90th minute. Clorinda's Silvestre Goito played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benigno Fortun in the 94th minute of play. The Instituto Atle.Ctral.Cba. supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Clorinda's performance. The match ended with a win for Clorinda.
