Flavio Cresitobalo came out of the goal and Teo Austin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Huracan de Ciudadela's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Astor Montae 5 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-0. If Astor Montae had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Modesto Ekaitz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nemesio Indalecio in the 12th minute of the match. Valdivieso FC's Modesto Ekaitz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Serafin Haritzeder in the 14th minute of play. Flavio Cresitobalo made a fantastic save in the 15th minute, when Astor Montae sent off a good shot on target. 22 minutes into the match, Valdivieso FC's goal looked a bit too open when Nemesio Indalecio came free, but Modesto Ekaitz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The corner led Valdivieso FC's Isaias Pietro to fire away a dangerous shot which Flavio Cresitobalo despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Huracan de Ciudadela's Eugenio Jakobe suffered a concussion in the 40th minute, after a hard challenge, and had to leave the field. After 40 minutes, Teo Austin mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Valdivieso FC and the Huracan de Ciudadela players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 41st match minute, Valdivieso FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Teo Austin to maneuver through the defense. Flavio Cresitobalo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Astor Montae, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. 45 minutes into the match, Valdivieso FC's Astor Montae sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Flavio Cresitobalo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Anibal Ostots's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Modesto Ekaitz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 55th minute of play. Astor Montae scored 2-1 in the 61st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Flavio Cresitobalo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Modesto Ekaitz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Anibal Ostots in the 65th minute. If Astor Montae had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alejo Katia kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. The Valdivieso FC fans' excitement grew in the 69th match minute when Valdivieso FC's Astor Montae looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Valdivieso FC's Astor Montae got a good chance for a goal in the 72nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 73rd minute, Nemesio Indalecio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
